 Team Education Makes History at the 35th Convocation Games!






On May 20, 2025, Team Education etched their names in the history books by triumphing over the School of Science in a thrilling football final at the 35th Convocation Games of Adeyemi Federal University of Education.


The match began with a tightly contested first half, where both sides showed tactical discipline, resulting in a goalless scoreline. However, the second half saw a strategic masterclass from Coach Victor, whose timely substitutions turned the tide of the game.


The winning moment was a beautifully orchestrated play: Mirror’s pinpoint pass found Kashy, who delivered a perfect assist to Michael, securing the only and decisive goal of the match. A true team effort and a moment to remember!

Under the dynamic leadership of Comrade Owolabi Wasiu (Director of Sports) and Comrade Olarode Olaniyi (popularly known as Mirror, the Esan President), Team Education showcased grit, determination, and unity throughout the tournament.

This historic win is a testament to their hard work, discipline, and belief in one another. A special shoutout to Coach Victor for his game-changing decisions and to Coach Sola for his continuous guidance.
