OUTCOME OF THE ESAN INAUGURAL SITTING

The Education Students’ Association of Nigeria (ESAN) SRC, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, successfully held her Inaugural Sitting under the theme:

“Redefining Student Leadership for Sustainable Development through Legislative Impact.”

The sitting marked a significant milestone in the legislative journey of ESAN, setting a renewed tone for purposeful, accountable, and development-driven student leadership. Key deliberations emphasized the importance of effective legislation in fostering unity, sustainability, and progressive governance within the student community.

The event featured insightful contributions from distinguished personalities, including the Dean of the Faculty of Education, respected legislators, advisers, and the Guest Speaker, whose thought-provoking discourse challenged student leaders to embrace responsibility, inclusiveness, and impact-oriented leadership.

Although some members were unable to attend the sitting, it is important to note that the resolutions reached and values shared are geared towards strengthening ESAN and advancing the collective interest of all education students.

It is said that only an ungrateful soul fails to appreciate goodwill. Therefore, all thanks and glory be to God Almighty for making the ESAN Inaugural Sitting a reality and for granting it resounding success.

I sincerely appreciate everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to grace the Inaugural Sitting. Your presence and support contributed immensely to the success of the event.

My special appreciation goes to our father and Staff Adviser, Mr. Ademikanra, for his unwavering guidance, counsel, and support towards ESAN and its members. Sir, God will continue to bless and strengthen you for us.

I also specially appreciate all stakeholders who came from far and near to honour our invitation. Your presence will not go unrewarded, and God will honour you all for standing by us.

Furthermore, I congratulate my distinguished Honorables on their successful inauguration and appreciate them for their cooperation and support. I equally commend all members of the Central Executive Council (CEC) who were present for their discipline and law-abiding conduct.
